Come meet the animals, at their pace.
Visits are by appointment only. This allows us to protect the animals' routine and give you a calm, safe experience.
Book ahead
Fill in the booking form or message us on Messenger and we will arrange a suitable day together.
Let the animals make the first move
Move calmly, speak softly and give shy animals all the space they need.
Feed only with our guidance
Some animals have special diets. Please offer food only when a member of the team says it is safe.
Getting here
We are in Fundu Moldovei, Suceava County. Once your visit is confirmed, we will send you practical directions.
Volunteers, side by side with the animals
This is what a day at the sanctuary looks like. Maybe the next photo will be of you?

A simple, off-grid place surrounded by nature.
The sanctuary sits on a hillside and operates independently of public utilities. That is part of what makes it special, but it also means visitors need to come prepared.
What to bring
- Sturdy footwear suitable for uneven ground.
- An extra layer; mountain weather can change quickly.
- Water, snacks and anything else you need for the visit.
- Plant-based food only.
- Companion animals may visit only with our prior agreement.
How we care for this place
- Our power comes from solar panels, so we use electricity carefully.
- Water is a precious resource up here.
- Please take all rubbish and packaging home with you.
- Respect the designated areas and follow the team's guidance.
- There is no entry fee. Donations are welcome, never required.
Would you like more time at the sanctuary?
