A sanctuary built for a lifetime.
In Fundu Moldovei, we give rescued animals a stable place where they can live safely and at their own pace.
It began with eight animals who needed somewhere safe to go.
Nova, Aponi, Nodin and Myko had been brought to safety from Ukraine by Casa lui Patrocle. Four horses rescued in Romania joined them. When they needed a permanent place to live, we opened our gates.
Rosa, Dolores, Jumbo and the other animals followed. The sanctuary grew around their needs, supported by a community that chose to stand beside them.
Today, Andreea, Nicușor, Dani and Mrs Lili provide the daily care, under the umbrella of Asociația lui Amos. Donations and sponsorships help cover food, veterinary treatment, shelters, transport and all the less visible work that keeps a sanctuary running.
What we believe
Every animal is an individual
Their names, preferences, habits and boundaries matter. We learn what makes each animal feel safe and adapt their care accordingly.
A lifelong commitment
When an animal enters our care, we take responsibility for their wellbeing for the rest of their life.
Respect, never exploitation
We are a vegan sanctuary. The animals' needs come first, and every interaction happens on their terms.

We regularly publish invoices, payment records and updates about the sanctuary's current needs.
A sanctuary runs on care repeated every day.
Mornings begin with food, water, cleaning and checking on every animal. Then come supplies, treatments, repairs and plenty of hay.
This routine does not stop at weekends or when the weather turns. Donations and sponsorships provide the continuity the animals depend on.
